Jason Wong and Susan Wu are married and currently living/working in Shanghai. Jason works at Roche R&D (China) as a senior scientist doing oncology research. Susan works at National Instruments R&D (China) as a technical writer. Susan has been living in Shanghai since 2001 and Jason since 2005. They were married November of 2005. Both came from and lived in many places (see below) before settling down in China. Shanghai is our home now and this blog is about our lives here.

Favorite hobbies: playing piano duets, board games, Wii, watching movies, listening to classical music, attending concerts, chamber music, eating at good restaurants, making smoothies with the vitamix
Polar opposites: 1) Jason likes reading/school, Susan hates reading/school. 2) Jason is a morning person, Susan is a night owl. 3) Jason likes the bed made, Susan hates making the bed. Our compromise - only Jason’s side of the bed is made.
Our wedding: November 26, 2005 at Portman Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai
How/Where we met: Middle of nowhere in a little town called “Tian Zhu (Heaven’s Blessing)” in Gansu province, China. It was love at first sight.
