Excerpts from Mayo Clinic:
… if you consume 2 liters of water or other beverages a day (a little more than 8 cups) along with your normal diet, you will typically replace the lost fluids…. it is generally the case that if you drink enough fluid so that you rarely feel thirsty and produce between one and two liters of colorless or slightly yellow urine a day, your fluid intake is probably adequate.
And “Are You Drinking Enough Water”
You may wonder: If I drink this much, won’t I constantly be running to the bathroom? Yes. But after a few weeks, your bladder tends to adjust and you urinate less frequently but in larger amounts.
Everybody knows that you’re supposed to drink at least 8 cups of water each day, but how many of you actually drink that much?
In an attempt to be more “healthy” and hydrated, Susan’s been drinking A LOT of water. It’s a good excuse to get up and walk around every hour now that she’s actually working in an office environment and spends all day sitting down staring at a computer screen. As a result, she’s also running to the bathroom every hour, as mentioned in the quote above. Hopefully her bladder will readjust soon…

A good article…I drink only 1-2 cups of water each day. Sometimes I don’t drink at all in the office. It’s not good to my health. I’ll try to drink more water
