一：批评孩子时不该说的话 (Part 1: What Not to Say When Criticizing Child):

1. 你怎么那么笨。Why are you so stupid?
2. 你看看人家孩子。Look at the other kids.
3. 你的字像鸡爪一样。Your writing looks like chicken scratch.
4. 你敢不听我的话？Dare you not listen to me!
5. 你到底在搞什么鬼？What the hell are you doing?
6. 出去就永远别回来。If you go, don’t ever come back!
7. 谁让你撒谎的？Who told you to lie?
8. 我的话是对的吧！I am right, right? (I told you so.)
9. 老毛病还没改。Old habits never change.
10. 和你爸一个德行。Just like your dad.
11. 你怎么总是这样？Why are you always like that?
12. 你还敢不敢？Are going to do that again?
13. 一点礼貌都没有，快叫人。No manners! Greet them quickly! (in context of when guests visit)
14. 说你几句就不高兴。 A few words and you’re upset.
15. 就你这成绩以后扫大街去。With your grades, you’ll become a street sweeper.
16. 你看看人家。Look at other people.
17. 这么简单都不会，以后还能干嘛？ If you can’t do something this easy, what are you going to become in the future?
18. 一点规矩都没有。You have no discipline/manners (meaning … what a rude child)
19. 要是这样，你一辈子都没有出息。 If you continue like this, you’ll be useless/hopeless forever.
20. 看看你的牛脾气。Look at your bad-temper.
21. 你简直就是破坏专家。You’re expert at breaking things.
