** Archaeologists believed to have dug up Jesus family tomb including ossuaries of Joseph, Mary, Jesus’ brothers, Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and Judah “Son of Jesus”! The inscriptions based on the ancient language are highly believed to be of the time period and people of Jesus’ days. Mathematicians calculated the probability and likelihood of other families with exact names and family relationships –> 1 out of 600. Hmm…. if this isn’t another hoax and further analysis confirm the finding and likelihood of this being the family tomb of Jesus, how does that affect or affirm what we know of today as Biblical history & intepretation?

** One Christian blogger writes about two types of Christian business/organization model – #1 God first, ministry objective second, staff third or #2 God first, staff second, ministry objective third. From experience and observation, he believes that those organizations/businesses that follow the first model are bound to fail eventually due to burnouts.

“So much time has been spent pouring the life of the staff into the lives of the people they’re ministering to that in a few months time your staff’s inner lives resemble the Sahara Desert—during a drought. And with a plague of locusts, too.”

WELL SAID! If you take away the God factor for any secular businesses/organizations/companies, would the same apply as well? #1 Business objective first, staff second or #2 Staff first, business objective second. We’ve seen businesses/companies that follows the first model and often times, these companies micromanage, offer minimal employee benefits, and bottom line –> saving money = profit. (like many Chinese/Taiwanese companies) These same companies probably have poor employee morale and/or retention and yet management holds their ground. Would model #2 guarantee success in a competitive market though? Hmm…. food for thought.

** A chinese businessman put up an ad for “pretend” mistress so his wife (who found out about the affair) can beat her up instead of the “real” mistress. Going rate is 300 RMB (~$36 USD) per minute.
