1. A student comes up to you and gives you a sticker for being a good teacher.
2. You have students with names like Tweety, Bamboo, Yoyo, Tiger, Yoshi, Galahad, and a boy named Jade.
3. A 1st grade student raises his hand and says “Ms. Wu, do you know that I have an email address?”
4. Remembering the names of all your students, including former students. That’s 700+ and counting!
5. Teaching the same students every year and watching them grow over the years.
6. Random times throughout the day, regardless of whereabouts, whether at school or LQ, Carrefour or downtown Puxi, even at the airport or on a plane, the sound “Ms Wu!” is heard. Most of the time for reals, but sometimes just hallucination.
7. Teaching students with siblings you’ve taught before.
8. Hug bank quota being met daily.
9. Holding their tiny littles hands as you put a bandaid on a scraped knee, giving them a hug, and watching them run off into the jungle gym again.
10. Watching these little ones graduate into middle/high school and still remembering the day they cried all the way to first day of school 5 years ago.
Some days are good and some days are not so good. Today is one of those good days and Susan is happy being a teacher.

One day when I was done my dream builder on the computer, Lilly told me that she wants me help her found the song named “Tell You”. So I helped her find it and at the same time I found ” Gift of Knowing You”. I like the lyric and also the song, so I copy the lyric to my document.
I think this song can encourage me. Every time when I feel unhappy or I don’t know what I shall do then I will remember this song, remember the lyric. At that time I know God is living with me forever. So I must worship him. Worship him is just give him the gift of knowing him!
