Jason started work last week and Susan started taking over the kitchen. With all of Jason’s allergies and Susan’s picky eating habits, it takes plenty of creativity to come up with a repertoire of dishes that will make everybody happy! So far, Susan has managed to make shepherds pie, fajitas, thai salad, ox tail soup, and pizza without the use of wheat flour, milk, tomatoes, and soy sauce. It has been a challenging task finding alternative ingredients and substitutes in Shanghai.
Does anybody know where to get rice flour, potato flour, yeast, lactaid milk, and wheat-free soy sauce in Shanghai? Haven’t been able to find them anywhere.

Hi Susan! Wow..that does sound like quite the challenge!! Would City Super at the Portman have these items? I know there is one rather specialty store out in Gubei somewhere but I don’t know the exact location. Perhaps someone else has been?
