Found a really neat website, NewsinChinese, to practice reading the news in Chinese! The website is a RSS feed of the latest news from Xin Hua News, but embedded with a dictionary engine so that whenever the mouse hovers over the chinese character(s), the English definition and pinyin appears. The engine is smart enough to recognize special names, places, companies, phrases, and even movie stars! That’s because the dictionary database works sort of like Wiki and users can continually add/modify character(s) and definitions. Neat!
