10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!! 10 more days until the wedding! Wow! Most of the planning’s pretty much done! Susan finally got her custom-made dress from Suzhou last week. It was a little too big, but Bev went with her to bridal dress shop near Yu Garden and got alterations. Jason got shoes and belt at BaBaiBan department store. Only in China do they custom measure and make your belt right then and there. (They had chop off about 1 foot of the belt for Jason’s skinny waist!) The piano trio is busy practicing the Tchaivosky trio. Vonjin’s almost done with the program. The rehearsal script is mostly done. Hotel reservations are made. Week-long dinner reservations (and pigging out) with family/friends are set. Went over ceremony details with Rosalie over the weekend during her visit in town. Morris is throwing bachelor’s party for Jason this Thursday. Fen is throwing bridal shower next Tuesday. The worship team is getting ready and yes, Julie is able to make it afterall! (Her passport was lost somewhere in U.S. during her attempt to get a visa to India, but somehow got stuck in customs because the INS thought it was a fake passport and had detained it). Piano recording is done and we have our first CD album. Will have to get it copied, printed, and packaged later. Guest list is finalized. Photographers are gathered. Helpers are all set! Everything is coming together and in just a couple of days, our family will be here!
And one more thing, honeymoon plans were done 5 months ago! ![]()
