Here’s a picture of one of Susan’s computer classes. These are fith graders and they are making interactive map of U.S. using Microsoft Excel. Who would have known that you could make maps using Excel?! Click HERE if you’re curious to know what they look like! Lots of neat stuff you can do with Excel!

By the way, the keyboard on the back wall is made of styrofoam lunch boxes (hopefully clean ones!). One of the former computer teacher at school made them a couple of years back when the school had very very little resources. Gotta make do with what we had when the school couldn’t afford real decorative stuff. SMIC Private School was and still is a breeding ground for creativity and learning. :) This is where Susan picked up many of her trades. Teaching, creativity, programming, fixing computers, networking, web design, etc… you name it.
